Supporting disaster preparedness for foreign visitors in japan through collective efforts

訪日外国人の「防災」をみんなの力でサポートする事業「BOSAI UNION PROJECT ™️」の事業構想段階から立ち上げまでを伴走しました。訪日外国人の自助力の向上は、彼ら自身を守ることはもとより、乳幼児や高齢者、身体の不自由な方といったサポートを要する方々に支援の手がより多く行き渡る環境をつくることができるのでは？という思いから発足したプロジェクトです。(新型コロナウイルス感染症対策・訪日外国人観光客の受入れ規制により活動休止)broomでは、コンセプト開発、ネーミング、コミュニケーション戦略、VI、各種ツールの制作等、包括的なデザイン・ディレクションを担当しました。

We accompanied the conceptualization and launch of the "BOSAI UNION PROJECT™", aimed at supporting disaster preparedness for foreign visitors in Japan. The project was initiated with the belief that enhancing the self-help capabilities of foreign visitors could not only protect themselves but also create an environment where more support reaches individuals requiring assistance, such as infants, the elderly, and those with physical disabilities. Due to COVID-19 measures and restrictions on accepting foreign tourists, our activities have been temporarily suspended. However, our goal remains to foster the self-protective capabilities of visitors and create an environment where more support can be extended. At broom, we handled comprehensive design direction, including concept development, naming, communication strategies, visual identity, and the production of various tools.
